The LA Clippers are finalizing a deal to acquire Rajon Rondo from the Atlanta Hawks for Lou Williams, two second-round picks and cash, according to Shams Charania.
Rondo signed a two-year deal with the Hawks this offseason after winning the NBA championship with the Lakers but didn’t seem to have fit in properly. He averaged 3.9 points and 3.5 assists from the bench.
Bogdan Bogdanovic is getting back to his best health and form and with Lou Williams (who is returning to Atlanta after seven years), the team will add an extra scorer.
On the other end, the Clippers will welcome Rondo as they were in big need of a true point guard.
