The Denver Nuggets (47-24) continued their chase for the third spot in the Western Conference with a 104-91 road win against the Detroit Pistons.
Nikola Jokic led the way with 20 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists while Vlatko Cancar helped with 11 points. Facundo Campazzo wasn’t on the roster last night. Deividas Sirvydis scored 16 points for the Pistons.
The third spot in the West belongs still to the LA Clippers (47-24) despite the loss to the Houston Rockets. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were sidelined while Serge Ibaka scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, Kristaps Porzingis scored 21 and Luka Doncic 20 points as they led the Mavericks (42-29) to a 114-110 win over the Raptors and clinched a playoff spot.
Porzingis and Doncic also grabbed ten rebounds each with the latter also dishing out 11 assists for a triple-double.
A lot of European action was seen in Oklahoma where the Jazz got a 109-93 win. Bojan Bogdanovic scored 22 for the victors while Rudy Gobert had 16 points, 18 rebounds.
On the opposing side, Oklahoma had Svi Mykhailiuk with 19 points in addition to Gabriel Deck and Theo Maledon’s 18 each. Jaylen Hoard scored nine and Aleksej Pokusevski six points.
Furkan Korkmaz scored ten points to help Seth Curry (20 points) and the Sixer clinch the top spot in the Eastern Conference as they beat the Orlando Magic 122-97. Moe Wagner had eight points on the losing side.
Warriors‘ Nick Mannion logged 11 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists for the Warriors with Alen Smailagic adding five points. Killian Tillie scored 16 for Memphis while Dairis Bertans and Cedi Osman went against each other with 17 and 16 points respectively.
