The Dallas Mavericks did not get the job done in Game 6

The Los Angeles Clippers defeat the Dallas Mavericks, 104-97, to tie the remaining best-of-seven series of the NBA Playoffs First Round at 3-3 on Friday.

Luka Doncic held to 2/9 three-pointers, logged a team-high 29 points in Game 6. The Slovenian star also had 11 assists, eight rebounds, and four steals. A late 8-0 sprint propelled the guests to a 98-90 lead rewarding them for the solid defensive showing against Doncic in the fourth quarter.

Serbian Boban Marjanovic inserted in the starting unit finished with 12 points and nine rebounds in 17 minutes. Latvian Kristaps Porzingis produced seven points, five rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block. German Maxi Kleber did not score in 21 minutes but grabbed three rebounds coming off the bench. Italian Nicolo Melli did not play.

Kawhi Leonard emerged as the key for the winning side with 45 points behind 18/25 field goals. French Nicolas Batum registered six points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals, while Croatian Ivica Zubac provided two points and six rebounds. Serge Ibaka missed his fourth game in a row with back spasms.

Game 7 is scheduled to take place at Staples Center on Sunday evening.
