San Antonio Spurs assistant Becky Hammon is among the coaches who will be getting a final stage interview by the Portland Trail Blazers, according to The Athletic. She thus becomes the first woman to be included among the finalists for a head coach position in the NBA.

Earlier this season, Hammon became an acting head coach during a game when Gregg Popovich was ejected in a match vs. the Los Angeles Lakers in December.

Chancey Billups, Dawn SQtaley (South Carolina’s head coach), Mike D’Antoni and Brent Barry (currently vice president on the Spurs) are among the candidates for the Blazers‘ vacant head coach position following Terry Stots’ departure.
