The Brooklyn Nets secure the services of Patty Mills, currently making things happen for Australia in the Olympic Games

Patty Mills has agreed to sign a two-year $12M contract with the Brooklyn Nets, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The deal includes a player option, as noted.

Mills, 32, has been with the San Antonio Spurs since 2012. He was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in 2009 and lasted a couple of seasons at the Oregon organization.

The experienced point guard had 10.8 points, 2.4 assists, and 1.7 rebounds per game last season, his tenth with the Spurs.

He is currently with the Australian national team in Tokyo for the Olympic Games preparing to meet the USA in the semifinals. His key contribution so far in the tournament translates to 20.8 points, 5.3 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per match.
