The New York Knicks have officially signed four-time All-Star guard to a deal, the franchise announced Wednesday.

Walker, 31, was traded to Oklahoma this offseason and reached a buyout with the club in order to move to New York. He spent the previous two seasons with the Celtics, averaging 19.3 points and 4.9 assists per contest.

“We are beyond thrilled to bring native New Yorker Kemba Walker back to the city he’s proud to call home. He’s a tremendous talent whose skill and leadership will be a huge addition to our organization,” said New York Knicks President Leon Rose, per nba.com. “We’ve already seen how well he performs on The Garden stage and can’t wait to witness it on a nightly basis in front of his family, friends and the best fans in the league.”

The veteran guard holds career averages of 19.9 points, 5.4 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 1.27 steals across 33 minutes in 704 games in his 10-season career.
