Ntilikina is moving on from New York and is likely to draw interest in the free-agent market

The New York Knicks have renounced their free agent rights to French guard Frank Ntilikina, as it was reported by Keith Smith of Sportrac.

23-year-old Ntilikina was selected with the 8th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Knicks but has seen limited time on the court this past season. He averaged 2.7 points in less than 10 minutes across 33 games in 2020-21, a career-low.

The French Olympiad, who helped France win the silver medal in Tokyo this summer, was already on the exit door as the Knicks have re-signed Derrick Rose and penned Kemba Walker to a deal.
