Dennis Rodman is 60. In a recent interview, he recalled fans estimating he would be dead before this age. Still being around has almost shocked him as well.

“I’m surprised I’m still here because a lot of people thought I would be dead at 40, 45, 50, 55. I turned 60 and I’m like, wow, I’m still here. Someone has a hand on my shoulder saying you have a lot left to fulfill something for people around the world.” he mentioned.

His NBA career is among the most successful. However, away from the court, one of the greatest NBA defenders and most influential players overall was considered odd to most fans, to say the least. Given his lifestyle, most thought he would not make it past his 40s or 50s, but here he is focusing on helping other people.

Rodman, nicknamed the Worm, has seen his on-court tactics being mirrored by many players of the succeeding NBA generations.

He was crowned NBA champion five times, twice with the Detroit Pistons and the remaining three with the Chicago Bulls.
