Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks are building up momentum with their second consecutive win

Luka Doncic and Dallas Mavericks‘ momentum has started building up, as the team cruised to a 116-106 win against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night.

Doncic once again led the Mavs with a double-double of 26 points, 14 rebounds, while he added 7 assists and 2 steals in 34 minutes on the court.

Tim Hardaway Jr. added up to Doncic’s efforts with 16 points, while Kristaps Porzingis and Maxi Kleber both added 9 points.

Rockets‘ big man Daniel Theis exited the game with a double-double of his own with 15 points and 10 rebounds and Christian Wood also had 16 points and 17 rebounds. Houston slipped to a 1-3 overall record after this loss.

Evan Fournier signed off with 18 points, 4 assists and the New York Knicks (3-1) got past the Philadelphia 76ers (2-2) with a 112-99 win at home. Kemba Walker also had a key role in the victory with 19 points and Derrick Rose posted 13 points coming from the bench.

Sixers‘ Furkan Korkmaz contributed 9 points and 3 assists in 25 minutes from the bench, while it was Tobias Harris who led all scorers of the game with nearly triple-double figures of 23 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists.

Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins registered 23 and 21 points respectively as the Golden State Warriors moved to 4-0 with a 106-98 comeback victory over Oklahoma City Thunder (0-4).

The Thunder led by 11 points at halftime but couldn’t manage to retain this lead in the second, despite a 30-point performance by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Aleksej Pokusevski contributed 9 points for the Thunder coming from the bench and Theo Maledon produced 3 points in his 24-minute presence.

Anthony Davies and Russell Westbrook combined 68 points to pace the Los Angeles Lakers (2-2) to win over the San Antonio Spurs (1-3) in an overtime battle.

Davis had 35 points and 17 rebounds and Westbrook added 33 points and 10 rebounds as the Lakers played without LeBron James.

Spurs‘ Dejounte Murray posted 21 points, 15 assists, and 12 rebounds for his fifth career triple-double, although his efforts weren’t enough to help his team bounce back in the overtime period.

Rudy Gobert and the Utah Jazz managed to defeat the Denver Nuggets amid Nikola Jokic’s knee injury. Gobert led the way for the Jazz with 23 points, 16 rebounds and Bojan Bogdanovic added 15 points and 2 rebounds in 29 minutes.

Jokic had 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists prior to his injury.
