Lots of European action in the NBA including Nikola Jokic and Luka Doncic’s big all-around performances

The Memphis Grizzlies and the Denver Nuggets faced each other two times in a row and the former came out on top on both occasions with the second victory being quite close (108-106).

Jaren Jackson with 22 and Ja Morant with 18 points led the way. For the losing side, Nikola Jokic had a big display with 34 points, 11 rebounds, five assists but it wasn’t enough. Will Barton helped him with 26 points.

Meanwhile, Dallas got a close win over the Spurs. Luka Doncic had 23 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists while Boban Marjanovic had 17 points.

Portland continues to struggle as they fall to the Cavaliers led by Jarrett Allen with 24 points, 17 rebounds and Darius Garland with 19 points, ten assists. Cedi Osman scored 12 and Ricky Rubio was pointless but dished out seven assists. Nurkic had six points, nine boards for Portland while Damian Lillard banked in 26.

Miles Turner with 25 points and 13 boards gave Indiana the win over New York. Domantas Sabonis had ten points, seven boards while Goga Bitadze added eight points. For the Knicks, Evan Fournier scored 14.

Three German players were featured in Boston’s win over Orlando. Dennis Schroder was on the winning side with eight points while Franz Wagner scored nine and Moe Wagner three points for the Magic.

Philadelphia had many players missing but still prevailed over the Bulls. Furkan Korkmaz had 11 points for the winners who were led by Seth Curry (22 points). DeMar DeRozan banked in 37 points, ten boards for Chicago. Nikola Vucevic had four points, ten boards, six assists.

Svi Mykhailiuk scored 15 points in Toronto’s win over Washington while Deni Avdija had 11 points, six rebounds for the losing side.

The Hawks fell to Brooklyn but Clint Capela put on another double-double with 13 points, 16 rebounds.  Bogdan Bogdanovic score eight and Danilo Gallianri seven points.

Nicolas Batum was huge for the Clippers with 20 points while Ivica Zubac followed ten. Isaiah Hartenstein added five.

Alex Len scored 12 points for Sacramento while Jonas Valanciunas had 14 points, 11 rebounds as the two went against each other.
