Rookie Cam Thomas emerged with a 10-foot jump shot in the final 1.7 seconds of overtime to lift the Brooklyn Nets to a 121-119 victory against the San Antonio Spurs at home.  The Nets bounced back after consecutive homecourt defeats and remain second in the Eastern Conference with a 25-13 record.

Kevin Durant powered the Nets with 28 points and six assists, including the final one to Thomas for the win, while Harden neared a triple-double with 24 points, 12 assists, and 7 rebounds. Thomas finished the game with 11 points and 6 rebounds coming off of the bench.

Lonnie Walker posted a season-best 25 points to lead a comeback effort for the Spurs late in the game, though his efforts fell short. The Spurs have now slipped their second game in a row. Dejounte Murray was one rebound short of a triple-double with 19 points and 12 assists for the visiting side and Jakob Poeltl also contributed a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
