Interviewed by Serge Ibaka on his show “How hungry are you”, Giannis Antetokounmpo talked about Victor Wembanyama, the NBA’s next big thing.
“Get ready my friend. How long do you want to play? 5-7 more years? You will be in the league with this kid. If you’re not ready, this kid is going to be a problem. A big problem. I’ve never seen this before in my life. I saw him up close, he was in the same team as my brother”, the Greek Freak said about the most anticipated French talent in the 2023 NBA Draft.
Then, he compared him to current NBA stars. “He’s taller than Rudy Gobert, he can block shots like Rudy but he can shoot like KD. Bro, crazy! He has a good attitude, if he stays healthy, he’s going to be really good”, he added.
