Luka Doncic had a solid stat line with 15 points, 10 assists, and 6 rebounds, but his performance wasn’t enough for Dallas to beat Portland.
The Trail Blazers got the 136-119 victory at home thanks to a big contribution by Jusuf Nurkic, who ended the game with 22 points and 11 rebounds, shooting 9/15 FG.
On the losing side, Davis Bertans started from the bench and scored only 6 points for the Mavs.
Starting off the bench, the 22-year-old Spanish big Santi Aldama contributed to the Memphis Grizzlies‘ win against the Indiana Pacers with 17 points and 4 rebounds.
The Minnesota Timberwolves got the 110-102 win against Cleveland, but Rudy Gobert only had 6 points and 4 rebounds as he had to leave the game due to right groin soreness. Cedi Osman scored 6.
The Utah Jazz lost in the last minutes against Philadelphia but they were without Lauri Markkanen, who was sidelined with a left hip contusion. Simone Fontecchio had 3 points off the bench.
O.G. Anunoby scored 14 but struggled shooting (5/13) in Toronto’s loss against the Atlanta Hawks. Bogdan Bogdanovic didn’t play due to quadriceps problems. Juancho Hernangomez added 3 for the Raptors.
