Not only Kevin Durant debuting with the Phoenix Suns and Giannis Antetokounmpo pushing Milwaukee during the NBA night, but also the second-best scoring performance of the season by Bojan Bogdanovic.

Although it was a losing effort, the Croatian small forward put up 34 points, four away from his season high against the Los Angeles Lakers in December. The former Utah Jazz player also had 6 rebounds and 3 assists, shooting excellently from the field (11/21), from three (8/12) and at the line (4/4).

The Detroit Pistons lost 117-115 in OT against the Chicago Bulls, and before the game Dwane Casey admitted he was planning to rest the 33-year-old Croatian. “He loves to hoop. For me, my preference was to limit his minutes, but when a man wants to play, we’re going to give him that opportunity”, he said.

Despite an horrible season by the Michigan franchise, the European small forward is living the best basketball year of his career numbers-wise, averaging 21.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. The Pistons, however, are tanking, occupying the last spot in the East with a 15-48 record.
