In the decisive Game 4 of the NBA Western Conference Finals series between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets, LeBron James had a losing effort for the ages, going very close to a monster triple-double with 40 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists and spending the whole 48 minutes on the court.

Following the 113-111 loss against Nikola Jokic’s team, the legendary veteran was cryptical in the post-game press conference regarding his future in the NBA: “I got a lot to think about. … Just personally, with me moving forward with the game of basketball, I got a lot to think about”, the Chosen One said.

According to Bleacher Report and TNT, is both uncertain about being with the Los Angeles Lakers or in the whole league, considering retirement after a 20-year career full of accomplishments, the last one becoming the All-Time leading scorer in NBA history. With that being said, he could follow his former teammate and friend Carmelo Anthony, who announced his retirement on May 22.

However, the 38-year-old superstar recently said he “still thinks about” playing with Bronny James, his son and projected first-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

In the 2022-23 NBA Playoffs, LeBron James averaged 23.5 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game, but he wasn’t enough for the Los Angeles Lakers against the Denver Nuggets, which are heading to their first-ever appearance in the NBA Finals.
