According to NBA insider Marc Stein and confirmed by Eurohoops sources, the Portland Trail Blazers are interested in AS Monaco center Donta Hall.

Hall’s contract includes an NBA out clause, and if he decides to leave, Monaco is expected to enter the race to sign Nikola Mirotic aggressively.

After spending four years playing college basketball at Alabama, Hall went undrafted in 2019 but sought his path to the NBA through the G League.

He had brief stints with the Detroit Pistons and Brooklyn Nets before returning to the G League. In April 2021, he signed with the Orlando Magic and played 13 games for the Florida team before moving to Europe in the summer of 2021 and joining Monaco.

In the previous season, the US center, known for his high-flying moves, averaged 7.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in 41 EuroLeague games. Monaco finished in third place at the Final Four in Kaunas.

If Hall departs, Monaco is expected to pursue Nikola Mirotic, who is already in demand after it was announced that he would be leaving Barcelona.
