Petrusev, Vukcevic, Jovic have solid Summer League performances

The Summer League continues and more European players get opportunities to display their talent.

Filip Petrusev scored 13 points and grabbed five rebounds in the Philadelphia 76ers‘ 110-101 win over the New York Knicks on Saturday night’s NBA Summer League games.

Petrusev was a starter and stayed on the floor for 21 minutes, during which he was a +19 for the Sixers. He shot 6-8 from the field.

2023 G League champion and Finals MVP Jaden Springer led the Sixers overall with 23 points. DaQuan Jeffries scored 20 points for the Knicks.

The Miami Heat beat the Boston Celtics 99 – 88 and Nikola Jovic pitched in 14 points and six rebounds to help his team get the victory. He struggled a bit with his shooting, finishing with 3-9  from the field, while having three assists and two steals.

Orlando Robinson dominated from the Heat with 36 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and two blocks.

Gran Canaria center Olek Balcerowski was on the Celtics‘ starting lineup and contributed eight points and five rebounds over 22 minutes.

Both Tristan Vukcevic and Bilal Coulibaly started the game for the Washington Wizards in the 83 – 91 loss to the Indiana Pacers. Vukcevic finished with nine points (on 2-7) and six rebounds while Coulibaly had nine points (4-13 from the field) and four rebounds, spending more time on the court (33 minutes) than any other Wizards player.
