Big trade in the NBA

James Harden saga is finally over, as according to Adrian Wojnarowski Philadelphia 76ers traded him to Los Angeles Clippers.

The 76ers also sent P.J. Tucker and Serbian center Filip Petrusev to the LA, for Marcus Morris, Robert Covington, French forward Nicola Batum, KJ Martin, a 2028 unprotected first-round pick, two second-round picks, a 2029 pick swap and an additional first-round pick that’ll be routed from a third team.

The Sixers will also waive veteran guard Danny Green to create the roster space for the trade to be completed.

Harden requested a trade back in June, didn’t get to play a single game this year with the Sixers, missing the last few preseason practices. He only watched their last game in Philadelphia, the victory they achieved against the Blazers.

The 34-year-old is a 10-time All-Star and three-time NBA leading scorer, with the Clippers being his fourth team after Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia.

As for Petrusev, after a great season with Crvena Zvezda in the EuroLeague, he moved to Philadelphia but played just three minutes in the regular season before being traded.

Batum will join his fourth NBA team after Portland, Charlotte and the Clippers, entering his 16th season.
