Gregg Popovich is certainly an extraordinary coach, however milestones like the following one remind us of his great coaching ability. San Antonio Spurs comfortably beat the Utah Jazz 118-81 and, consequently, the experienced coach claimed the 1043rd win of his career and overcame Rick Adelman.
On top of that list is Don Nelson with a total of 1355 victories and a great career in Warriors, Mavericks, Bucks, and Knicks, respectively,while Lenny Wilkens (1332 wins) is second and Jerry Sloan (1221 wins) is third. For now, Popovich’s next target is Larry Brown with 1098 victories.
