The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the shorthanded Golden State Warriors on the road 109-128, and Vasilije Micic had more space to showcase his talents.

For the first time since arriving from Anadolu Efes, the former EuroLeague MVP played for more than 20 minutes in a regular-season game, and his production increased.

Micic recorded seven assists in over 21 minutes spent on the court, scoring five points and grabbing two rebounds, on 1/5 shooting from the field and 1/3 from beyond the arc.

The Serbian playmaker had a good connection with his teammates, providing easy baskets to the big guys and offering two assists at the end of the third period when Oklahoma started pulling away.

Aleksej Pokusevski remained out for the winning side, and the Warriors were without Steph Curry. Additionally, Draymond Green sat out the first of his five-game suspension for choking Rudy Gobert. Golden State fell to 1-5 at Chase Center.
