Starting the year hot, the Slovenian superstar just keeps on dominating the 2023-24 NBA Regular Season. During the latest 119-107 win on the road against Brooklyn by the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncic shone.
The former Real Madrid star went close to a huge triple-double of 35 points, 18 rebounds, and 9 assists, followed by his backcourt teammate Kyrie Irving, who scored 36 points, 5 assists, and 2 steals, shooting 15/24 from the field including 6/10 from deep.
Elsewhere, Kevin Durant beat Giannis Antetokounmpo in one of the battles between NBA stars, ending with a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Jusuf Nurkic, who had 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Greek Freak contributed with a losing effort of 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Dragging Utah to the impressive upset victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, Lauri Markkanen had one of the best performances of his season, delivering a double-double of 33 points and 11 rebounds, shooting 12/18 from the field including 5/7 from beyond the arc.
The Chicago Bulls won against Minnesota, dragged by Nikola Vucevic against Rudy Gobert in a battle at the rim; the Montenegrin center had 24 points and 6 rebounds, while the French one had a losing effort of 12 points and 16 rebounds.
Finally, losing 132-129 against the Indiana Pacers, Alperen Sengun tried his best to keep the Houston Rockets on the winning end, providing 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 6 assists in the defeat.
