Triumphs for the Chicago Bulls on a demanding road trip. Making it three out of three on the western coast of the United States, they held on for a win versus the Golden State Warriors in Chase Center on Thursday.

“It’s been big for everyone’s confidence,” mentioned Nikola Vucevic, relays Sam Smith on Bulls.com.

The Montenegrin center shared a game-high 33 points with DeMar DeRozan. Both made key plays, paving the way for the team coached by Billy Donovan in San Francisco.

“We always talk about staying together, lift each other up. I think with all the injuries and everything we’ve been through this year, I think it’s really brought us closer together and really built trust within one another,” explained Vucevic, “We play for one another. It’s different guys stepping up these games, making big plays.”

“We know it’s the only way for us to be a good team,” he added, “It’s been a theme in each game on this road trip there have been different guys stepping up, making big plays. And so hopefully we continue to do that.”

Vucevic, 33, made 14/23 field goals. He also pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out five assists.

Wrapping up the four-game road trip, the Bulls face the Los Angeles Clippers on the upcoming installment of NBA Saturdays.

At 31-32, they are 4.5 games away from the Playoffs zone and six games ahead of elimination, sitting inside the Play-In zone, ninth overall in the Eastern Conference.
