Opening the NBA Saturdays schedule, the New York Knicks dominate the fourth quarter en route to a win, 105-93, over the Brooklyn Nets in Madison Square Garden.

Playing with right forearm soreness, German point guard Dennis Schroder started and registered nine points behind 4/13 field goals, seven rebounds, three blocks, and three assists in a sixth straight loss in the NBA Regular Season. Besides being forced down to 26-45 and further away from the Play-In zone of the Eastern Conference, the Nets went on the wrong end of the third Big Apple Battle of the 2023-24 campaign with the season series concluding in the same venue in three weeks.

For the Knicks improving to the overall record to 42-28, German big Isaiah Hartenstein posted a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double to go with four steals, two blocks, and two assists over 26 minutes. Coming off the bench and lasting seven minutes, Croatian Bojan Bogdanovic added three points and one rebound. Former NBA champion with the Milwaukee Bucks and two-time NCAA champion with Villanova, Donte DiVincenzo scored a game-high 31 points.

O.G. Anunoby (right elbow injury management) sat out a third game in a row, after a brief return to action following surgery in February and 18 straight games on the injury list. Head coach Tom Thibodeau also missed Julius Randle (dislocated right shoulder) and Mitchell Robinson (left ankle surgery). For the Nets, Ben Simmons (left lower back nerve impingement) and Dariq Whitehead (left shin stress reaction) were sidelined.
