Not many games were on the NBA schedule on the night between Saturday and Sunday, but it was enough for European players to take the spotlight.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bogdan Bogdanovic engaged in a captivating battle during the Milwaukee Bucks‘ 113-122 road win over the Atlanta Hawks.
The Greek player almost reached a triple-double, recording 36 points, 16 rebounds, and eight assists on 12-22 shooting in a winning effort, while Bogdanovic finished the game with an impressive 38 points and 10 rebounds.
The Serbian guard delivered his second-best scoring performance of his career but fell short at home to the Bucks despite scoring 17 points in the final quarter. However, he achieved a personal best with a career-high 10 rebounds.
Earlier in the evening, the Orlando Magic secured a convincing 118-88 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies at home, marking their winningest season since 2011 with a 43-31 record.
Paolo Banchero contributed 13 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, while Franz Wagner added 13 points. Goga Bitadze and Mo Wagner contributed four each for the winning side. Santi Aldama did not play for the visitors.
Boston Celtics also recorded a win, taking down New Orleans Pelicans on the road 92-104, with Kristaps Porzings recording a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and Jonas Valanciunas scoring two with five boards.
