NBA Play-In and Playoff projected pairs confirmed

The NBA postseason is coming after the completion of the regular season and the games that determined some of the Play-In and Playoff pairs.

The 2023-24 NBA regular season concludes Sunday (14/4) as all games begin early in a friendly timezone for Europe, with many of the stars, including Luka Doncic and Victor Wembanyama, resting.

The last remaining open pairs of the Play-In tournaments and some Playoff matchups are decided following some of today’s results.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo still not fit to play, the Orlando Magic beat the Bucks 113-88, getting the fifth spot and the Bucks dropping to the 3rd place.

The Knicks climbed to the second spot in the East, after beating in overtime the 9th Chicago Bulls 120-119.

The Indiana Pacers prevailed over the 10th Atlanta Hawks 157 – 115 and got the sixth spot for a first-round matchup with the Bucks.

In the West, the Oklahoma City Thunder got the top spot after beating the 5th Dallas Mavericks 135 – 86 who played without Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

The Phoenix Suns (6) prevailed on the road over the Minnesota Timberwolves (3) 125-106 – 125, as the two teams will face each other again in the first round of the playoffs.

On the contrary, the Lakers beat the Pelicans 124-108, dropping them to the play-ins, and the two teams will face each other again with the 7th New Orleans playing at home a knock-out game against the 8th Lakers.
