After sitting out Game 3 of a best-of-seven series pitting the New York Knicks against the Indiana Pacers, OG Anunoby has been ruled out of Game 4 due to a left hamstring strain.

The British forward has missed multiple games due to various injuries since moving his talents to the Big Apple in late December. Highlighting impressive contributions, the team coached by Tom Thibodeau won 26 out of 31 outings between the 2023-24 Regular Season and the 2024 NBA Playoffs Presented by Google Pixel with Anunoby in the lineup, while settling for a 13-13 run with the Hoosiers product on the sidelines.

A former NBA champion with the Toronto Raptors in 2019, he put up 20.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per contest before an early exit in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Despite the latest setback, Anunoby followed the Knicks to Indianapolis. “Our medical team is here, so it makes sense,” noted Thibodeau.

Anunoby, 26, produced 14.1 points per game over 23 appearances with the Knicks in the Regular Season, before averaging 16.4 points per contest in the Playoffs. Currently labeled day-to-day, the next chance to play follows in Game 5 in Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.

On NBA Sundays, his side is seeking to gain a 3-1 lead with a win in Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Croatian Bojan Bogdanovic (left foot surgery) is out, sidelined for the remainder of the postseason. Julius Randle (right shoulder surgery) and Mitchell Robinson (left ankle) are sidelined as well.
