Ukrainian center Alex Len appears to be on the move again.
According to Shams Charania, the 31-year-old from Antratsyt, Ukraine, is expected to be waived by the Washington Wizards and plans to sign with the Indiana Pacers upon clearing waivers.
Len joined the Wizards as part of a multi-team deal during the February 6 trade deadline, but it seems he won’t remain in Washington. He will provide frontcourt depth for the Pacers.
Currently in his 12th NBA season, Len was drafted fifth overall in 2013 by the Phoenix Suns. Five years later, he moved to the Atlanta Hawks, then played for the Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors, and Washington Wizards before returning to the Kings in 2021.
He has amassed 680 regular-season appearances, averaging 6.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in the NBA.
