Led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks defeated Dallas Mavericks 132-117 and improved to fourth place in the East with a 34-25 record.
Giannis was on the verge of a triple-double, finishing with 29 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists, as Milwaukee improved to 21-1 when scoring at least 120 points.
Antetokounmpo, who entered the game shooting just 58% from the free-throw line, went 11 of 13 against Dallas.
Damian Lillard added 28 points, and the duo combined to score Milwaukee’s final 13 points before halftime, turning a one-point deficit into an eight-point lead. Lillard then opened the second half with a bucket, sparking a 10-2 Milwaukee run that stretched the lead to 81-65.
Milwaukee visits Atlanta on Tuesday, while the Bucks and Mavericks will meet again in Milwaukee on Wednesday.
