Giannis Antetokounmpo became the first player to pile up 35 points, 20 assists, and 17 rebounds in a single game, leading the Milwaukee Bucks to a win, 126-113, against the Philadelphia 76ers.
“It feels good,” he mentioned in a postgame media session on Thursday, “I feel like I’ll talk about it with my kids or my grandkids when I’m retired.”
“I love handling the ball. I love playing also off the ball. When you’re the primary ballhandler, you just got to keep on making good decisions for the team,” the international superstar with Greece described a new personal best with 20 assists.

The Freak was initially listed as probable with a left foot sprain but lasted nearly 39 minutes in Wells Fargo Center. Fueling an eighth triple-double in the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season, Giannis tucked in 12/19 field goals, including one three-pointer, and also registered two steals.
Head coach Doc Rivers felt ill and was forced to an early exit during the first half. Assistant Darvin Ham took over for the rest of the game.
On the losing end, Turkish Adem Bona recorded a career-high 28 points with 13/15 two-pointers and 2/3 free throws. As the starting center for Nick Nurse’s side, the 22-year-old big added six rebounds, three blocks, and two steals in just under 35 minutes.
Returning from a right knee sprain, French Guerschon Yabusele was another starter and went for 22 points alongside six rebounds, three assists, and one steal over 35 minutes.
