Perth Wildcats forward Izan Almansa has officially declared for the 2025 NBA Draft, his agent Guillermo Bermejo told ESPN’s Jonathan Givony.
The 19-year-old Spaniard has been a standout for Spain’s national teams at every age level, including the senior squad. Almansa was named MVP of the FIBA U17 World Cup in 2022 and the U19 World Cup in 2023, and also earned top honors at the 2023 FIBA U18 European Championship.
Before moving to Australia, Almansa spent two years in Real Madrid’s youth academy, then took his talents to the United States to play for Overtime Elite and later for the G League Ignite.
He participated in the 2024 NBA Draft Combine but ultimately chose to withdraw and continue developing his game with the Perth Wildcats, now entering the 2025 draft with more experience under his belt.
In the 2024–25 NBL season, Almansa averaged 6.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game, shooting 51% from the field.
Several other European talents have also declared for the 2025 NBA Draft, including Egor Demin, Bogoljub Marković, Noah Penda, and Kasparas Jakucionis.
