The streak is finally over: after more than 1000 days, since Game 5 against the Boston Celtics back in the 2022 NBA Playoffs, Giannis Antetokounmpo has won a game in the postseason.

With their backs on the wall, the Milwaukee Bucks needed to react in Game 3 in front of their own fans after losing both games to start the series in Indianapolis.

They did so by conquering Game 3 with a 117-101 victory, as the Greek Freak celebrated such an important win with a 37-point performance throughout the 48 minutes. He shot 14/19 from the field and 9/10 at the line, grabbing 12 rebounds and sharing 6 assists.

He wasn’t the only player able to put out 37 points against the Pacers last night, as Gary Trent Jr. joined him too by scoring 9/12 from beyond the arc.

The Greek phenomenon and his teammate are the first duo in the Milwaukee Bucks‘ history to score at least 35 points on the same occasion in the NBA Playoffs.

Tyrese Haliburton’s double-double of 14 points and 10 assists, combined with Pascal Siakam’s 28-point losing effort, weren’t enough for the Pacers to go 3-0 in the First Round already.
