In a cryptic message, the Freak presented himself in a warm-up shirt, ‘Win for Cream City’, combined with emojis of prayer hands and saluting.
The post became viral on Sunday evening. Followers are wondering whether it is about a decision to move on from the Bucks or instead remain loyal to the franchise.

The fact for Giannis is that his contract lasts until the end of the 2026-27 season and contains a player option for the 2027-28 season. The most recent deal with the Bucks in 2023 limits possible availability in the market to a trade with another NBA team.
The Greek superstar, a native of Athens, went from a well-kept secret to being drafted by the Bucks with the 15th overall pick in 2013 and emerging as the franchise leader en route to winning an NBA championship in 2021 as the Finals MVP. After the major career highlight, his side reached the Eastern Conference Semifinals in 2022 and suffered first-round exits in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
The biggest differences from earlier disappointing exits are between Giannis possibly deciding to seek a second career championship elsewhere after becoming 30 years old in December and a devastating injury to Damian Lillard further complicating such a task in Milwaukee for the 2025-26 journey.
