For the first time since 2016, there will be a Game 7 to decide who will become NBA Champions.
In Game 6, the Indiana Pacers dominated the Oklahoma City Thunder at home, running away in the second quarter with a 36-17 run.
Eventually getting a 31-point margin down the line, the yellow-and-blue franchise won 108-91 with Obi Toppin as the leading scorer with 20 points off the bench.
Pascal Siakam added a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds. Tyrese Haliburton, who ultimately decided to play after suffering a calf injury in Game 5, finished with 14 points and 5 assists.
“We just wanted to protect our home court. We didn’t want to see these guys celebrate a championship on our home floor. Backs against the wall, and we just responded. Total team effort,” he said.
For Oklahoma, which will now play Game 7 at home, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander put up 21 points.
