The Utah Jazz have acquired Bosnian center Jusuf Nurkić in a trade with the Charlotte Hornets, sending guard Collin Sexton and a 2030 second-round pick the other way, according to reports from Shams Charania and Jake Fischer.
Nurkić, 30, brings toughness and veteran experience to Utah’s frontcourt, joining Walker Kessler and rookie Kyle Filipowski in the center rotation.
He averaged 8.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists across 51 games last season with Phoenix and Charlotte.
Both Nurkić and Sexton are on expiring contracts for the 2025/26 season and will be eligible for extensions this summer. If no new deals are reached, they’ll enter unrestricted free agency in 2026.
