Dante Exum will be signing a one-year deal to stay with the Dallas Mavericks for the 2025-26 season according to Shams Charania.
Charania reports that there were two more team as options for Exum before the Australian guard decided to remain in Dallas.
Exum averaged 8.7 points, 2.8 assists and 1.7 rebounds over 18.6 minutes during 2024-25. The 29-year-old player made his season debut in January following his recovery from a wrist injury and registered just 20 games before suffering a broken bone in his arm in March.
In 2022-23, Exum had a notable EuroLeague season with Partizan Belgrade that earned him an NBA comeback with the Mavericks the following summer.
