Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo confirming intentions to stay with the Milwaukee Bucks on multiple occasions, persisting rumors keep dominating headlines concerning the Freak. However, the situation falls shy of disrupting the front office in preparations for the 2025-26 NBA Regular Season.

During an NBA 2K26 Summer League game on Sunday, team president Peter Feigin talked about a lasting and unaltered relationship with the franchise leader.

“It’s where we’ve been for ten years,” he said, “Giannis loves Milwaukee, Milwaukee loves Giannis. We’re at a good place. We feel great about it. It’s business as usual.”

“We get a fun little joy in everybody else thinking they know what’s going on and what the clickbait is, but for us, we’re in a good spot,” he added, “Giannis is in a good place, he’s enjoying the summer. We’re looking forward to next season.”

With Serbian forward Bogoljub Markovic scoring 14 points over 23 minutes, the Bucks lost to the Los Angeles Clippers, 106-91, in Pavilion.

Far from Summer League action in Las Vegas, Giannis has moved his vacations to Greece. He is also expected to suit up for the senior national team of Greece in the EuroBasket 2025, with the international tournament set to take place between August 27 and September 14, before returning to Milwaukee and taking part in the Preseason 2025.

Several offseason roster adjustments were headlined by Myles Turner joining the Bucks, alongside Cole Anthony and Gary Harris, replacing departing Damian Lillard, Brook Lopez, and Pat Connaughton.
