San Antonio Spurs guard De’Aaron Fox will be signing the maximum contract extension with the club, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Fox, 27, and the Spurs have agreed to a four-year, $229 million deal that will keep the player with the franchise until 2030. San Antonio acquired the former All-Star from the Sacramento Kings on February.
In 2024-25 overall, Fox averaged 23.5 points, 6.3 assists and 4.8 rebounds over 36.1 minutes. He had 19.7 points, 6.8 assists and 4.3 rebounds in 34.0 minutes over 17 games with the Spurs.
Before he was traded, Fox had set a new franchise record for the Kings with 60 points during a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves in November.
