Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis disregarded the reports and rumors about his superstar teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo potentially leaving the club.
“Yeah, I talk to Giannis all the time. That’s my teammate,” Portis said to ESPN Milwaukee. “Giannis bleeds green. That’s all I can say.”
It has been reported that Antetokounmpo is undecided about whether he’ll continue with the Bucks or he’ll request for a trade out of the team. The Greek Freak is said to be concerned regarding the championship potential of the current Milwaukee roster as he’s locked in on winning his second title.
Portis believes that this shouldn’t be a concern in general since the Bucks have what it takes to claim the championship.
“I mean, what’s wrong with our team? Why can’t we do it this year? The only thing wrong with us is people being hurt,” Portis said regarding comparisons of the 2021 championship roster to the current one.
Portis, a 10-year NBA veteran, has been with the Bucks since 2020.
