Like every season, right before the NBA world begins, the General Managers of all NBA teams completed a 50-question survey.

The results are in, and even though there is a wide variety of topics, one thing remains clear: European superstars dominate the best league in the world.

Nikola Jokic is -by far- the favorite to win once again the 2025-26 Kia MVP, getting 67% of the votes. Luka Dončić (10%), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (8%), and Victor Wembanyama (7%), none of them from the USA, also got votes. The Denver Nuggets center won several categories of the survey: which player forces opposing coaches to make the most adjustments (57%), who is the best center in the NBA (97%), who is the best international player in the NBA (93%), which player is the best passer (80%) and which player has the best basketball IQ (80%).

His good friend Luka Doncic won the vote as the best small forward in the NBA (40%) and was also featured in several questions such as which player forces opposing coaches to make the most adjustments (fourth with 10% of votes), second (17% of votes) in the vote for the best point guard and also second in the vote for being the best passer in the NBA.

Giannis Antetokounmpo remains the best power forward in the league (93% of votes) and is the most versatile player in the NBA, tied with Victor Wembanyama. The Greek superstar also finished third in the most versatile defender in the NBA vote.

The future is here, and Victor Wembanyama is already winning some votes. In addition to being the most versatile player, Wemby is the player the GM would go with to start a franchise (83%), the best defensive player in the NBA (80%,) and the best interior defender in the NBA (80%).
