Nikola Jokic and Cade Cunningham are named NBA Western and Eastern Players of the Week in Week 3 of the NBA.
The Serbian big man led the Denver Nuggets to a perfect 4-0 during the week, averaging 31.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 13.3 assists per game. The Nuggets are now 7-2 in third place in the Western Conference.
The 3-time MVP is averaging 25.5 points, 13 rebounds, and 11.9 assists per game on this 2025/26 season. This is the 16th Player of the Week award for Nikola Jokic.

On the other hand, Cade Cunningham led the Detroit Pistons to 4-0 with averages of 31 points, 9.8 assists, and 54.7% on field goals. The Michigan team is now are the top team in the East (8-2) with a great start. Cunningham is now averaging 25.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 9.8 assists per game.
The former Oklahoma State players is one of the top guards in the league. The Detroit Pistons are the suprise in the East, getting huge wins and being on top for the first time in years.
