Orlando Magic forward Franz Wagner exited Sunday’s matchup with the Knicks at Madison Square Garden after a scary fall during a fast-break play in the first quarter.
As he moved in transition, New York center Mitchell Robinson challenged a pass intended for him, and Wagner went down immediately, clutching his left knee.
He remained on the court for several moments before his brother, Mo Wagner, helped him back to the locker room.

Wagner would not exit the locker room, as the Magic later announced that he would not return to the game describing the issue as a “lower left leg injury” and noting that he will be re-evaluated once the team is back in Orlando.
Wagner has been performing at an All-Star caliber this season, averaging 23.4 points and 6.2 rebounds while shooting 35.4% from beyond the arc, being Orlando’s most impactful player throughout the team’s recent surge of strong performances.
