The last night of 2025 ended up having a bad taste for the Milwaukee Bucks and the San Antonio Spurs.

Despite 33 points and 15 rebounds, Giannis Antetokounmpo couldn’t score in the final second, and the Wizards got the 114-113 win over the Bucks on the road.

C.J. McCollum made a go-ahead, pull-up jumper with a second remaining to give the victory, while French big man Alex Sarr added 20 points for the winners.

The San Antonio Spurs beat the New York Knicks 134-132, with Julian Champagnie having a career-high 36 points and setting a franchise record with 11 3-pointers.

Victor Wembanyama finished with 31 points and 13 rebounds in 24 minutes before suffering from a hyperextended knee injury with under 11 minutes remaining.

Latvian star Kristaps Porzingis returned to action with 16 points coming off the bench in the easy 126-102 win of the Hawks over the Timberwolves.
