Milwaukee Bucks secured a victory in the NBA on Martin Luther King Day, defeating the Atlanta Hawks on the road with a score of 112-110.
Giannis Antetokounmpo had restricted minutes in this game, but he was still the best player on his team. In less than 30 minutes, Giannis scored 21 points (7/12 from the field, 7/12 free throws), added 17 rebounds, and six assists.
Alongside him, Bobby Portis scored 19, AJ Green 18, while Ryan Rollins and Myles Turner each had 14.
On the other side, Nickeil Alexander-Walker scored 32 points, Jalen Johnson was impressive with 28 points and 16 rebounds, while Dyson Daniels fell short of a triple-double. He finished the game with 17 points, ten assists, and nine rebounds.
It seemed the Bucks would resolve the game in their favor more easily, holding a lead of 23 points midway through the third quarter (74-51). However, Atlanta made a comeback, even taking the lead in the final moments (102-101), but after a dramatic finish, Milwaukee still claimed the victory in the day’s first game.
Atlanta is now in tenth place in the East with a record of 20-25, while the Bucks are one position below with 18 wins and 24 losses.
