Victor Wembanyama is one of the NBA’s current and future stars. The San Antonio Spurs‘ franchise player has made a name for himself in the league since his arrival.
In his third season in Texas, the French center continues to grow and propel his team to a 38-16 record, in second place in the Western Conference.
Answering journalist Chris Haynes’ question about being the potential future face of the NBA, Wemby was clear.
“I definitely see it happening… Supply and demand. I’m here to supply“, Wemby answered in his second All-Star appearance in just three seasons.

The Spurs‘ star is averaging 24.4 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks in 40 games played in the 2025/26 season. After overcoming deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in his right shoulder, Wembanyama is dominating the league.
