There is a tribute video to welcome Kobe in every arena he plays in his last season in the NBA. Of course, the same thing happened during his last night visit in the United Center for the match against the Chicago Bulls. And who better to… introduce Kobe Bryant’s last game in the arena, other than Pau Gasol.
During their co-existence in the L.A. Lakers, Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol had won two titles (2009/2019), being a force to be reckoned with. The Spanish center spoke about his ex – teammate in the tribute that his current team prepared from the “Black Mamba” and, of course, after the game, the two shared a warm hug.
Gasol was one of the best players in the Bulls‘ victory over the Lakers with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Kobe Bryant scored 22, but he couldn’t prevent his team’s defeat with 126-115.
