Shai Gilgeous-Alexander set a new NBA record for the most consecutive games with 20 or more points, reaching 127 and surpassing the legendary Wilt Chamberlain.

His streak, which began on November 1, 2024, has now lasted 497 days, highlighted by 36 points in Oklahoma City’s win over the Boston Celtics.

The Thunder leaned on his historic performance to secure the victory, with teammates providing support every step of the way.

I’ve just had so much fun playing basketball over the last year and a half. Probably because we’ve had a lot of wins. But the team is always there to make losses lighthearted and wins super fun. When you stay focused, connected with your teammates, and just enjoy the process throughout the season, you get the best out of everything,” the reigning NBA MVP added.
