Both European superstars recorded a triple-double, but Doncic had the final word with a game-winning shot in the last second of overtime.
After the game, LeBron James praised the Slovenian guard for his performance and clutch moment.
“Just a big-time shot by a generational player. For us, we wanted the last shot; we wanted to put the ball in our guy’s hands. It started with AR, he was able to find him, he got away from the double team and hit the patented step-back. It’s only going to be the first of many games,” LeBron said after the win over the Nuggets.
