Victor Wembanyama keeps pushing the limits. While his 32 points, 12 rebounds, four blocks, and two steals in San Antonio’s recent win over Charlotte Hornets grabbed headlines, it was his playmaking that truly impressed.

The 20-year-old French forward uses his positioning and gravity to create openings for teammates, threading alley-oops to Luke Kornet and Stephon Castle and finishing the game with eight assists.

It’s one more weapon. My playmaking often happens by rolling and drawing attention without touching the ball. But I can also make the pass myself when the moment calls for it,” Wembanyama said.

Wemby’s performance marked only the second time in his career he recorded at least 30 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, multiple blocks, and multiple steals in a single game—tying him with franchise legend George Gervin for the third-most such games in Spurs history, behind Tim Duncan and David Robinson.
