Defending NBA champions Oklahoma City Thunder are on the verge of another Western Conference Finals appearance.

The Thunder defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 131-108 in the first road game of the series to take a commanding 3-0 lead and move within one victory of advancing.

Belgian-American guard Ajay Mitchell starred in another convincing Oklahoma City win, finishing with a double-double of 24 points and 10 assists without committing a single turnover.

He became the first player in Thunder history to record at least 20 points, 10 assists and zero turnovers in a playoff game.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander followed with 23 points and nine rebounds, while Chet Holmgren added 18 points and nine boards. Cason Wallace chipped in 16 points, while German international Isaiah Hartenstein contributed 12 points and nine rebounds.

On the other side, the Lakers were once again without injured Luka Dončić. Rui Hachimura led Los Angeles with 21 points, LeBron James added 19 points and eight assists, while Luke Kennard scored 18. Austin Reaves narrowly missed a double-double with 17 points and nine assists.
