Deandre Ayton is another player who will not be wearing the Los Angeles Lakers jersey next season, following the departure of LeBron James from the franchise.

According to Shams Charania, Ayton has been traded to the Washington Wizards for Jaden Hardy and two Wizards second-round picks in 2031 and 2032.

The Lakers recently signed four players in a single day, including Walker Kessler, who will be the team’s starting center.

Now, the Lakers need to find a backup option, and one of the names mentioned is Jonas Valanciunas, who was close to joining Zalgiris. Alongside the Lithuanian, Kevon Looney and Andre Drummond are also being considered.
